Clarke Chronicler's Resurrection

Looking  around  for  something  to  take  advantage  of  the  easing  of  lockdown  we  decided  on  a  game  of   Foot  Golf  at  Regents  Park, Bolton. We  pre-booked  it  for  10am. We  arrived  a  bit  early  so  hung  around  in  the  car  for  a  while. I  let  Simon  go  first It  was  a  bit  nippy  so  I  was  glad  I  was  wearing  a  jumper  over  my  tracksuit  top. The  course  is  intertwined  with  a  3  Par  course  and  there  was  a  trio  playing  on  that  which  necessitated  some  waiting. Some  of  the  tees  had  piles  of  bottle...

 Simon  still  wasn't  feeling  100%  so  we  stayed  close  to  home  and  walked  and  filmed  some  of  the  footpaths  in  the  Bradshaw  area  calling  at  Jumbles  Cafe  once  again  for  breakfast  muffins. The  footage  we  shot  is  included  in  this  video

 Simon  wasn't  so  well  this  weekend  but  accompanied  me  in  the  car  while  I  did  a  bit  of  filming  on  some  of  the  footpaths  in  the  Bradshaw  area. We  then  went  for  ice  creams  at  Jumbles  Cafe. The  footage  I  shot  forms  part  of  this  video.

As   my  wife  Julie  wanted  to  accompany  us  on  our  next  visit  to  the  canal  as  it  runs  through  her  hometown, we  decided  to  stay  local  and  finish  our  filming  of the  footpaths  around Egerton. The  results  can  be  seen  here
