Clarke Chronicler's Resurrection

 My next  choice  of  trip  was  a  chance  to  see  Chester  Castle  which  was  opening  up  to  the  public  for  a  redcoats  weekend. We  took  the  train  via  Manchester  Victoria  where  Simon  performed  his  entry  for  the Manchester  Jazz  Festival. You  can  see  the  video  here.  This  was  Simon's  choice  of  trip, a  visit  to  Roundhay  Parkin  Leeds, specifically  the  Tropical  World  attraction. We  drove  to  Todmorden  and  bought  a  Day  Rover  ticket  for  the  train  from  there. We  walked  through  the  city  centre  to  find  a  bus  to  the  park. Tropical  World  was  at  the  top  end  of  the  park  near  the  formal  gardens. It  was  quite  busy  inside.
