 Simon  was  ill  last  week, hence  no  trip. This  week,  it  was  my  choice  and  I  went  with  another  Paul  Hannon  walk  around  Todmorden, visiting  the  high point  of  Trough  Edge  End  on  Inchfield  Moor. Before  starting  the  walk  we  visited  Todmorden  Market  where  Simon  purchased  an  Eminem  LP  on  vinyl. Simon  wanted  a  sightseeing  trip. I  wanted  somewhere  easy  to  get  to  and  back  so  we  went  for  a  visit  to  the  Museum  of  Science  and  Industry, booking  online  the  night  before. In  the  old  days  of  the  LTS,  we  visited  the  museum  in  its  former  premises  on  Grosvenor  Street  twice  in  October  1979.  I  had  visited  the  museum  with  Simon  some  years  earlier  but  he  only  had  vague  memories  of  the  ride  simulator.  From  a  range  of  destinations, Simon  chose  Morecambe  for  our  next  weekend  away. After  some  deliberation,  we  booked  ourselves  in  at  St  Winifred's  Hotel  on  the  northern  side  of  the  town.
