 With  Tier  3  restrictions  now  in  place, Simon  chose  this  one  from  a  list  of  museums  in  Greater  Manchester. A  phone  call  the  day  before   confirmed  it  would  still  be  open.  The  weather  was  dreadful  so  we  retreated  to  the  waiting  room  after  buying  our  tickets  to  Stalybridge. Without  being  locked  in  our  own  county,  I  was  able  to  pick  Norland  Moor, the  shortest  walk  in  the  Paul  Hannon  book  as  our  destination. We  set  off  early  to  enable  me  to  get  back  in  time  to  watch  Rochdale's  game  on  Ifollow.  Mum  came  along  on  this  one. After  our  experiences  in  York, we  planned  this  one  out  in  advance  with three  attractions  and  a  meal  pre-booked.
