This was Simon's choice of trip, a musum that we hadn't visited yet. Before we set off , I made an important purchase, a Family and Friends railcard that made some destinations further afield affordable. We took the train to Blackburn. We had some time to kill before the museum opened so we went to the Cathedral. We looked round the interior before heading to the tea room. It was good but a bit pricey. I had some toast which was very nice but I expected more than one slice for £2.95 ! The environment...
