100 Sunday 2 January 2022 Haigh Park
With the weather still dry after returning from church, we decided to head for Haigh Park and a game of adventure golf. As we approached the park, the heavens opened.
After parking up we decided it was better to head for lunch at the Courtyard Cafe first.
After a pretty ordinary lunch we visited the Stables Gallery which detained us for all of two minutes. We then spent some time under a large canopy in the courtyard.
It was still teeming as we went across to the golf club house. Reluctant to abort the trip, we decided to give it half an hour and eventually the rain did subside.
We were not the only people trying to play on the waterlogged course but it was still somewhat absurd.
