139 Saturday 3 September 2022 Liverpool Planetarium
We seem to have mislaid most of the photos from this trip but never mind.
One part of the World Museum in Liverpool we hadn't yet explored was the Planetarium. The shows didn't start until mid-day so we set off mid-morning. When we got to the museum, there wasn't a suitable and available showing untl 4pm so we bought tickets then went for lunch at Witherspoon's.
After that we made for the Anglican cathedral. We called in again at the Catholic cathedral first.
We moved on to the Anglican cathedral. We had a look round the interior then paid for the lift and stairs to the top of the tower.
I took loads of photos but they don't seem to be on the camera. This was a picture Simon took of the view back to the Catholic cathedral.
We went for a drink and cake in the cafe there. I didn't feel so well after that and had to sit on a bench near the Adelphi hotel for a while. Simon suggested we could go straight home now but I thought sitting in a dark room sounded quite appealing so we went back to the museum.
The show was pretty good but quite brief. We then headed for the station. We had a drink in Waterstone's while waiting for our train.
