145 Sunday 16th October 2022 Pendle Hill walk
Simon chose a walk up Pendle Hill for his next trip. We started off from Sabden where we went to Mass first in a nice little church. There were already some Halloween decorations up in the village.
There was a good view of the Sabden valley as we gained height.
This was the view over to the Bowland fells.
We finally made it to the summit.
We dropped down into Barley. This is the view looking back.
We went to the tea room at Barley's car park. Unfortunately I was served by a dozy teenager who took my order for sarsaprilla and came back with half a cupful saying they'd run out and he'd only charge half price. I'd have preferred the option of choosing something else. After this, Simon was ready to move on.

The walk back to Sabden was a little longer than I anticipated but we got there in the end.
