 I  shouldn't  really  admit  to  this  but  a  friend  lent  me  an  annual  ticket  for  the  National  Waterways  Museum at  Ellesmere  Port  which  was  still  valid  so  we  decided to  make  that  the  trip. We  had  to  change  at  Liverpool  Lime  Street  where  there  was  some  superhero  costume  event  taking  place.  Our  next  weekend  away took  us  to  Lancaster. We  found  a  holiday  let  from  Booking.com We  had  tea  before  setting  off  so  just  chilled  out  on  the  Friday  night. On  Saturday, we  drove  to  Barbon  to  continue  the  next  stage  of  the  Westmorland  Heritage Walk.  This  was  my  choice, walking  the  first  part  of  the  Huddersfield Narrow Canal  from Ashton-under-Lyne  to  Mossley. We  drove  to  Ashton and  had  lunch  at  the  cafe at  Portland Basin Museum.  Outside, we  met  another  YouTuber  called  Callum  and  swapped  details. A  noisy  goose  was  also  attracting  some  attention.
