88 Sunday 10 October 2021 Fairhaven Lake
Simon wanted to do so more boating so we headed for Fairhaven Lake between Lytham and St Anne's. We caught the train to Blackburn noting runners heading for Manchester on the opposite platform.
We changed at Blackburn for the Blackpool South train, alighting at the now rather forlorn Ansdell and Fairhaven station.
We walked down towards the seafront noting a street sculpture.
We hoped to get a snack at the lakeside cafe but it had been closed for some time.
It was a lovely day.
We hired a motor boat but were a bit disappointed at only getting 20 minutes. Simon steered as usual.
