Clarke Chronicler's Resurrection

 This  was  my  choice, a  walk  taking  in  Fitzpatrick's  cafe  in  Rawtenstall.  Molly  joined  us  for  this  one.  We  parked  at  Rawtenstall  station  and  walked  to Fitzpatrick's. Simon  and  Molly  both  ordered  extravagant  shakes. After  that  we  set  off  on  our  walk  from  the  centre  of  the  town. The  first  mile  or  so  was  a  continuous  climb.  Our  latest  weekend  away  saw  us  based  at  Haworth  YHA.  We  stopped  at  the  Village  Chippy  in  Stubbins  for  tea  and  got  some  drink  and  biscuits  from  the  Corner  Shop. We  got  to  the  hostel  around  8pm. We  had  room  1  on  the  ground  floor  ( the  three windows  to  the  left  in  the  picture ) . After  a  shower  we  went  to  the  games  room  and  played  a  bit  of  pool  though  the  one  cue  we  had  to  share  left  a  lot  to  be  desired ! We  Watched  a  little  TV  in  the  lounge  then  went  to  bed. ...

 This  was  Simon's  choice  for  a  trip for  Easter  Saturday.  We  arrived  about  half  an  hour  before  the  museum  opened. We  had  a  walk  through  the  eerily  quiet  university campus  then  did  some  filming  on  the  river  Irwell.   The  footage  we  shot  is  included  in  this  one.    The  museum  opened  at  12.00pm.
