This was Simon's choice, a visit to the Manor Heat Jungle Experience in Halifax. Molly came along with us.
We encountered an immediate disappointment when we got to the park and found that the attraction was closed. The internet had given us no warning of this. Simon and Molly exorcised their disappointment in the play park.
We decided then to move on to Piece Hall, the object of many trips in the "classic" LTS era. There was an unpleasant experience when we were trying to park up with an obnoxious drunk - at 11 in the morning ! - trying to direct us but we managed to evade him.
We did a full circuit of the galleries and called in at the exhibition spaces and a few of the shops.
The market looked a bit tidier than in the old days.
We had lunch in a town centre pub. We then moved on to Shibden Park where a lady kindly offered us the remainder of her parking ticket.
First, we filmed a video on the miniature railway which you can see here.
After that we took out a rowing boat which didn't go so well. We couldn't get a rhythm going and tempers got a bit heated.
